New Look? Well, Maybe…
Aug 3rd, 2009 by Bill Konway

I’ve been spending a little time lately looking at the work of other photographers on their various sites and have really come to like this sort of look. I guess sometimes it may be a bit over saturated but that can be dealt with. Here are a few recent portraits that I have done that seem to really take advantage of the basic technique. I’d like to know what anyone else thinks about it. Some of the photos are a bit heavy on it while others are a bit light on the post work. A small change in the lighting of the shots seems to make a difference in the final product as well.

Happy B-Day!
Valuable thoughts and advices. I read your topic with great interest.
I really like your blog and i respect your work. I’ll be a frequent visitor.
Bill, I sort of like the new effect you are having but it can be a bit unflattering when you have someone with lots of artifacts (wrinkles, freckles, or even a shirt that just came out of the box.) Girl: lovely and great effect, others may not be so excited about their brightly colored and over sharpened artifacts being called out. You know there’s something to be said for a fine coating of Vaseline on the lens.
