Hmmmm, Where Was I???

I sort of forgot about a few of these tear sheets. The one above was shot for Bowtech in Texas back in the spring. It had been embargoed by Bowtech, (which is very common), until it ran as an ad for them. Bradley Gruetzner, the young man in the photo, was severely injured by a roadside bomb while serving in the military. Despite losing an arm and many other injuries, Bradley has found a way to still shoot and hunt. More power to him and all our soldiers serving this country.
Otherwise things have been hectic. I went on an early season doe hunt in Michigan and managed to connect on the second hunt, which was a morning hunt, I really hate mornings. Came home for a couple days and then flew to Utah, (for another embargoed job), shot police K-9’s the next day, and I leave again this morning to help out at a music video shoot in Illinois. When I get home I’ll have a couple days to bowhunt a new lease I have here near home, then it’s off again to Minnesota and Wisconsin to photograph Pat Reeves and Nicole Jones of Driven Hunter TV. If you caught it, their show that ran this past week was the show where the girl, (Jodi), got her jaw broken by the jumping carp. It’s also the same episode where I made my not so glamorous return to TV as the boat driver, go figure. October 10th is the day that we’ve planned the first ever Leroy, Indiana Beast Feast. Should be a great time with people from all over coming out to eat, drink, and be merry. The following weekend is the early muzzleloader season in KY and a couple of days shooting for Prois and another company. The next image was another job for Ross Archery, which is owned by Bowtech, that was shot a bit later in the spring outside St Louis. The final image was shot for Archery Business magazine and again was embargoed till the issue went to print.
